Dear Richard and Brian-I was a friend of your Moms for almost 50 years and I am deeply sorry for your loss.I got to see her about 3yrs ago when she came East for school reunion.I had the most wonderful visit with her remembering sleep overs,boys sneeking out so your dad wouldnt hear us.I was priviledged to know her and love her as my dearest friend  
and will miss her terribly.I always kept her in my heart as she was a special person.I will miss her dearly.There were 6 of us in our tight little group-Sara,Sharon,Eleanor,Gerry,Kathleen and my self Diane.Although I have never met you I am sure  you were proud to have her as your mom.My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family.

DEAR RICHARD AND BRIAN, DEBBIE AND RICHARD,

I DO HOPE IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO ADD AN ENTRY. I WAS TOLD OF SHARON´S PASSING BY SOME OF OUR OLD HIGH SCHOOL FRIENDS FROM MT.KISCO. I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR/OUR LOSS AND PARTICULARLY AS I HAVEN´T HAD MUCH RECENT CONTACT WITH SHARON AS SHE NO LONGER HAD AN E MAIL ADDRESS. I SHALL PREFACE THIS BY SAYING  WHO I AM IN RELATION TO YOUR MOTHER. DEBBIE AND RICHIE MUST STILL REMEMBER ME AS THEIR NEIGHBOR AND SISTER´S BEST FRIEND FROM THE DAY THEY MOVED TO KISCO UNTIL WE GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL. AS WE BOTH WENT AWAY TO SCHOOL.  WE DIDN´T SEE ONE ANOTHER VERY OFTEN AGAIN. I  WENT TO SCHOOL IN CONNECTICUIT, MOVED TO NEW YORK CITY AND HAVE LIVED IN BARCELONA, SPAIN FOR THE PAST 37 YEARS WHILE SHARON REMAINED IN MICHIGAN.
I WAS SORRY NOT TO HAVE MADE IT BACK TO THE USA FOR THE LAST CLASS REUNION AS I WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH HER AND RENEW OUR FRIENDSHIP.
I AM SO SORRY FOR YOU AT THIS TIME AND WANTED TO SHARE MY CONDOLENCES. I HAVE SO MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF SHARON AND THE ENTIRE CONNELL FAMILY. BRIAN MENTIONED IN HIS EULOGY, THE HOUSE ON MOUNTAIN AVENUE, AND IT WAS A SECOND HOME TO ME THROUGHOUT MY TEENS. SHARON AND I DID OUR HOMEWORK EVERY AFTERNOON IN FRONT OF THE TV IN THE FRONT ROOM WATCHING AMERICAN BANDSTAND. WE ALSO SPENT ENDLESS HOURS UP IN HER ROOM SWAPPING CLOTHES FOR THE NEXT SCHOOL DANCE, LISTENING TO ROCK AND ROLL OR RACHMANINOV!!!,OR TALKING ABOUT OUR BOYS-WE DATED BROTHERS, CHEERLEADING AND SCHOOL. WE ALSO GOT INTO OUR SHARE OF TROUBLE WITH THE NUNS WHO THOUGHT WE WERE TROUBLEMAKERS. DON´T KNOW WHERE THEY GOT THAT IDEA AS WE REALLY WERE GOOD, INNOCENT KIDS.
ANYWAY I HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES ALL OF WHICH STILL BRING A SMILE TO MY FACE AND I KNOW WOULD TO SHARON´S AS WELL.

Dear Richard and Brian,
I was so sad to hear about your mom being called home to God. Sharon is my cousin and I was lucky to have known her. I was 12 when I got to visit your mom and dad the summer Richard was born. Many years went by and I finally got to hang out with Sharon at Chris Bogers wedding in Nevada. My daughter Megan loved Sharon right off the bat. It was also fun visiting with Brian too. May you find peace in knowing your mom was deeply loved by her cousins!

I am so sorry for your loss.  Sharon and I worked the same position in the Youth Department of the library from 1998 to 2003, so I only really got to talk to her at shift change time.  She was a lovely woman who spoke fondly of her sons.  Blessings.

Dear Richard and Brian:  I was so sad to hear of the sudden and unexpected passing of your mother and my cousin Sharon.  My mother Eileen Connell was your Mom’s Aunt Eileen and the seven Marchev cousins and the three Connell cousins grew up together, spending lots of time visiting between NJ and Mount Kisco and during summers at the Farm.  Sharon was only a couple of years older than Debbie and I, but seemed so much more mature and sophisticated.  I looked up to her.  She was always kind and sweet to me and the younger cousins – this in spite of Debbie and me occasionally getting under her skin with our antics.  My fondest memory of Sharon is her telling us stories in the dormitory of the Farm after bedtime.  She was so creative and never ran out of ideas for a new story involving secret passages and mysterious people and so many imaginative plot lines that kept me and all the other kids enthralled.  My recollection of summer bedtime is begging Sharon for a story – I don’t remember her ever turning us down.  She probably never did!  My thoughts and prayers are with you. Dear Richard and Brian, I worked with your mom in the Youth Department of the Public Library for many years and was so sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. She was a lovely intelligent woman with a fine sense of humor. We shared many cat tales, especially when she adopted her first cat off the  street. After I retired, I rarely saw her but whenever we met, it was if I had never left. My condolences to you both.

I will never forget the day Sharon, and family, left Eagle Heights and moved to Ann Arbor. I was a kid then, and Ann Arbor seemed some far off place that I would probably never go to. I would many years latter, and I would see Sharon a few more times over the years. She was always a nice and friendly lady. Sharon always had love for me and my sister. I am sad to see her go so young, but grateful that she raised two talented young men. For a few years she also helped my mom take care of me and my sister, and I am very grateful for that.

I am sad to hear that Sharon passed away.  I have spent many hours working beside Sharon at the Ann Arbor District Library.  She was always warm, caring and pleased to be with a variety of people.  She was so proud of her sons, and happy to live in Ann Arbor.  As I write this I remember her voice, her smile, and her laugh.  Peace.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I was fortunate enough to work with Sharon at the Ann Arbor District Library. We worked on the reference desk quite often. Whenever I saw Sharon at the desk, it put a smile on my face to know that I'd be working with her. We shared a lot of stories and talked a lot about the televison shows we had in common. She also gave me a lot of great advice. I hope its of some comfort to know that Sharon meant a great deal to a lot of people.

Dear Richard and Brian,
I am so very sorry for your loss.  Although I have never met either of you I do know of you. You mother spoke highly of you both. She often told me that you took such good care of her and that she was very proud of you.  Sharon was a dear friend of mine. When I came to visit her recently we joked that she was in a spa when she asked for iced tea from one of the nurses. I will miss her laugh and our lunches together. Dear Richard and Brian,
So sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your mom.  Most of my memories of her are from our days at Eagle Heights.  It was so fun growing up across the hall from your family.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.
