Robert Rudolph Klose

Was born April, 21st 1949 He passed away July, 10th 2017 in Ann Arbor MI of Cancer.

Robert Klose was a kind and generous Man. He was a Professional Nurse graduating from Eastern Michigan University. He is the son of Henry J. Klose and Margaret Reichert Klose of Ann Arbor.

His family has a long and established history in the cities of Ann Arbor and Battle Creek

His Maternal Grandparents were Rudolph E. Reichert and Cristina John Reichert. He was the founder and President of the Ann Arbor Bank and the former State Banking Commissioner of the state of Michigan. He was the nephew of Dr. Rudolph E. Reichert and Mary Beuhler Reichert of Ann Arbor

His Paternal Grandparents were Henry J. Klose, Sr. and Nina Hogland Klose of Battle Creek. They owned and operated The Klose Bakery.

In keeping with Robert’s generosity, he has donated his body to science through the University of Michigan. Memorial services will be determined later when the University has finished their work. His remains will have a place of honor at Washtenong Memorial Park and a memorial plaque will be placed with his family at Bethlehem Cemetery.

He is survived by his brother and sister in law Henry J. Klose, III and Joan Garner Klose formally of Ann Arbor now residing in Bedford, TX his sister Mary Griffin and her children Living in San Francisco, CA

His Nieces Kerri Klose Blevins of Missouri and Kimberly Klose Hamm also living in Bedford, TX

His loving spirit will be greatly missed.
