Bauer, Richard "Rick" Dexter Richard Allen Bauer, 48, of Dexter, MI. July 17, 1967 - May 20, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents Walter & Sharon Bauer. He is survived by his beloved girlfriend Kim Wheeler & her children Kyle & Kiara, brother Walter "Ben" Bauer (Tana Ludwig), and sisters Tina Bauer and Lisa White (Arturo Espinoza), a niece Rebecca Asbury and nephews Bryce Bauer and Derek Lamp. He graduated Dexter High School in 1985 and had an extensive career in the computer storage industry that started in Ann Arbor. He moved to Florida where he obtained an Associate's Degree from Seminole College in 1997 and then to California where he finished his career as a senior engineer. He traveled the world, ultimately taking an early retirement the last seven years. Rick's joys in life were spending time in nature, with the many people he cared about and solving problems...the tougher the better. Services will be held at Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel, Dexter, MI on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00am.
