Peggy Williams

Peggy Williams was born June 12, 1942 in Ann Arbor MI to Michael F. Richter and Charlotte (Swaney) Richter. She passed away June 06, 2020 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary Ferra, her brother-in-law Starr Kohn, and by her longtime friend Dennis Hudson. Peggy lived and worked most of her life in the Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti area. She has been a faithful member of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 2008 in association with the Stadium and Forest Ridge congregations. She is survived by her daughter Rhonda (Kevin) Hausermann of Portage, MI and by grandchildren Eric and Amanda Hausermann, her brothers Michael Richter and Robert Richter, and sisters Elizabeth (Thomas) Knight, Catherine Kohn, Carol (David) Werth and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. Donations could be made in her honor to Housing Bureau for Seniors, 2401 Plymouth Rd.
