Cole, Norman Dean of Ann Arbor, MI passed away suddenly on May 28, 2022. He was born in Lansing, Michigan July 12, 1941, the son of the late Donald Freeman Cole and the late Ruth Edna Cole. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Cole. Norman had three daughters, Darlene Bourne (Daniel Cahill), Brenda Burrows (Michael), and Christine Mitchell (Raymond). On September 25, 1999, he was married to Kathleen (nee Weber) Cole, a marriage that lasted 23 years. Further survivors include stepchildren, Deborah Clark (Jac) and Joel Babbitt (Ruth). Eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, eleven step great grandchildren. Brother, Alan Cole, Sisters, Yvonne Blackburn (David) and Rosalie Bergman (Phillip) and a brother in law, James Weber (Joanne) and sister in law Carolyn Cole. Norman was a carpenter/contractor his entire life. He supervised many local Ann Arbor projects, both commercial and residential. He enjoyed maintaining his yard and home, including projects for his wife’s horses, spending time with family and looking at family photos on his computer. He also loved hearing about their travel journeys and researching their destinations. A visitation for Norman will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Muehlig Funeral Chapel of Ann Arbor. A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, at Muehlig Funeral Chapel followed by a graveside service at Bethlehem Cemetery, 2801 Jackson Ave, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation or to the Charity of your choice.
