Nancy McCoy Briggs

She was the daughter of Roy Talmadge and Mary Markey McCoy. Nancy grew up in Louisville, KY where she attended and graduated from Louisville Collegiate School. Although she moved away, she loved attending her collegiate reunions.

Nancy met her husband Dale while attending the University of Louisville. In 1955, they settled in Ann Arbor. Nancy was very active in her church. She provided housing for many people through the years who needed a place to stay while their loved ones were hospitalized.

In 2004, Nancy and Dale established the Dale and Nancy Briggs Chamber Music Endowed Enrichment Fund at the University of Michigan.

Nancy is predeceased by her beloved husband, Dale and is survived by her children; Susan and Stephen, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister; Patricia Baker, 3 nieces and their families, sister in law Doris Mason and her family.

Services for Nancy will be held privately at a later date.
