Michael was born in Aurora, IL and later moved with his family to Ann Arbor MI where he was a 1989 graduate of Pioneer High School. He received further education at Washtenaw Community College and at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI. Michael was most recently and for about 10 years, a bus driver for the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority. He previously was a chauffeur for a limousine service and enjoyed various landscaping work.
Michael enjoyed his many social activities with his family and friends. Preceding him in death is his mother Barbara May. Surviving are his father James May living in Montrose CO and his 2 brothers Jeffrey May living in Houston TX and his brother Timothy May living in Arlington VA.
Memorial services were held at St Francis Catholic Church in Ann Arbor and his ashes are now resting next to his mother’s ashes in the church’s memorial garden.
