

A lifelong resident of Ann Arbor, Marguerite attended all of her primary school years at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic School. She met her husband of 68 years Edward Dale Roos in the first grade.
After high school, Marguerite pursued higher education at Detroit Mercy Nursing School becoming a Registered Nurse. She began her nursing career at St. Joseph Hospital, followed by The University of Michigan Health Service.
Marguerite and Dale married at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church on June 6, 1953 and welcomed their three children into their Ann Arbor home.
Marguerite was an avid reader, puzzler, and could often be found in deep conversation with her neighbors and friends. In her later years, Marguerite enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Her children remember her as a kind and patient mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Marguerite is survived by her husband, Edward Dale Roos; her daughter Gail Raubolt (Bill); her daughter Ann Stewart (Michael); and her son Tim Roos (Jill); her grandchild Ryan Raubolt (Kasi), her grandchild Megan Raubolt, her grandchild Christopher Stewart, her grandchild Carolyn Stewart, her grandchild Annemarie Roos and her great-grandchild Miles Raubolt.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her father Emmett O'Connor and her mother Natalie O'Connor; her sister Maryann Kendall and her brother Robert O'Connor.
A visitation for Marguerite will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, 530 Elizabeth St, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104. A funeral mass will follow.
A burial will occur Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11:30 AM at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, 300 Sunset, Ann Arbor, MI 48103.
A luncheon will occur Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 S 4th Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104.
