Margaret V. "Marge" DeShano

DeShano, Margaret V. “Marge” passed away Monday, July 24, 2017. She was born December 12, 1917 in Flint, MI the daughter of David and Blanche (nee Ellsworth) Gautheir. Marge married George DeShano in 1940 at St. Michaels Church, Detroit and he preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by her children; Allan (Marilyn) DeShano, Paul (Michelle) DeShano and Margy DeShano, her grandchildren; Steven, Michelle, Scott, Kristin, David, Marc, Elisabeth and Matthew, and 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, David and Royal Gautheir and her sister Marie Hulber. Marge worked at the Red Cross for 10yrs. and was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church Choir for 30yrs. She enjoyed Bowling, Euchre Clubs, volunteering at Church and Schools and Fishing. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27th from 4:00 until 8:00 with a Scripture Service at 7:30 at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel, Ann Arbor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 28th at 11:00 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Ann Arbor with visiting from 10:00 until time of Mass. Burial will follow Mass at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Ann Arbor. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to: St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
