Madeline "Mickey" McMath Sloan, 89, of Ann Arbor, Michigan died on Friday, June 13, 2014. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Mary McMath. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, her brothers Robert and Kearny and her parents as well as her faithful dogs Tori and Sunday.
Madeline graduated from the University of Michigan and worked for many years as a biochemist doing research in the department of surgery at the University of Michigan Hospital. She was active in the choir at her church, enjoyed traveling all over the world and spent time training and working with her therapy dogs. She leaves behind her nieces Adrienne and Mary Garrison and Betsy Wehmeyer and nephews Louis and Kearny Garrison, as well as her dearest friend Antonina (Toni) Adams, along with many other friends and several cousins.
Visitation will be at St. James Episcopal Church 3279 Broad Street, Dexter, Michigan from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18th, and on Thursday, June 19th from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service to be held at 10:30 am.
