Ken Qin

Ken Qin, 57, left us on October 26, 2017, at home with his family, after a long-standing battle with lung cancer. Ken was born on June 3, 1959 in NanJing China. He moved to the United States in 1987 to pursue a graduate degree in mechanical engineering at Eastern Michigan University. In 1998 he met and married Casey Hu. They moved into a house that he designed and built on a beautiful lake in Dexter, MI. After furthering his education with an MBA degree, Ken became the Director of Supply Management at Elliott Group Corporation. Ken was a devoted husband and father. He committed much of his time taking care of his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, painting, fishing, and watching football. Mr. Qin is survived by his mother, Liniang Lin, his wife, Casey Hu, his sister Xiao Hong Qin, and his daughter, Lily Hu. His charm and humor has enriched the lives of everyone in his path and he will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
