Kathryn Lynch "Kitty" Rose

Kathryn (Kitty) Lynch Rose, age 57, died peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2016, in Ann Arbor. Kitty is survived by her husband, Jim, her son William (Bill) Jacobitz, and her daughter Kathrine (Kara) Jacobitz; step-children, Julie Sears, Amanda Dirschell and Tyler Rose. Mother, Patricia (Harry) Dion; brothers: Christopher Lynch, Harry Dion Jr., Jerry Dion, and Michael Dion; her sisters Alison Lynch Jackson, Dolores Dion Connolly, and Madonna Dion Knudson. She is preceded in death by her father Robert Russell Lynch. Kitty was born on January 7, in Detroit, MI, and was raised in Ann Arbor. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 1981 with a B.A. in marketing. Kitty spent her career in the residential housing industry. She held a builder’s license from the state of Michigan and was a licensed Realtor. She also worked in the home mortgage and title industries. Kitty was recently recognized as Associate of the Year from the Ann Arbor Board of Realtors. Kitty was a loving mother and loyal friend. Kitty had a zest for life, dazzling in an array of talents, and was a ray of sunshine who illuminated any room she entered. She will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Monday, December 26, at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 South Fourth Ave., Ann Arbor and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM, at Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Ann Arbor.
