Judy Beth Clark, 72, of Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away on June 11, 2024, following a battle with COVID Pneumonia. Judy Beth was born on November 17, 1951, to Bruce R. Clark and Genevieve (Zietler) Clark in Ann Arbor where she lived her entire life. She was a graduate of Pioneer High School and Washtenaw Community College and worked for Ann Arbor Public Schools in various positions, including teacher's aide, bus monitor, and early childhood caregiver; she enjoyed sharing many humorous and touching stories of her students. Judy Beth was happiest when she was caring for young children and kept in touch with these families long after their children were grown. She was fiercely independent and generous and valued friendships. She enjoyed spending time outside in nature; attending craft fairs and parades; entering baked goods and crafts in the Saline Fair; and spending a week every summer at a Methodist family camp in Eaton Rapids. Always ready to volunteer her time until her health began to decline, Judy Beth taught Sunday School and served in church nurseries, sang in church choirs, and helped with homeless ministries. In addition, she was proud to have walked in the annual Crop Walk every year since its inception (49 years.), raising funds for those enduring food insecurity. Judy Beth was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor; a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Knox on Saturday, September 7, 2024, with a gathering of loved ones at 10am, service at 11am and luncheon following. To help with planning purposes, please RSVP to Amy at [email protected] if you are able to stay for lunch.
