Mrs. Johanna M. Strong passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Tuesday January 15, 2013. Johanna was 90 years old she was born on February 7, 1922 in Bismarck, Germany to the late Richard and Anna Costman. Johanna is also preceded in death by her loving husband, James, infant daughter, Brenda Sue, and Son-in-Law Terry Hardesty. Johanna is survived by her three children, Barbra, Deborah and Daryl (Amy). She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Andrew, Daniel, Kelli Elizabeth, Jeffery, Philip, and Stephen. Additionally she is survived by two great-grandchildren, Declan Scott and Amelia Johanna. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Zion Lutheran Church of Ann Arbor or the Humane Society of Huron Valley in memory of Mrs. Johanna Strong.
Visitation will be Thursday January 17th from 3-7p.m. at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 South Forth Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Johanna’s funeral will be held on Friday January, 18th at 11:00a.m.
