Those wishing may park their vehicles at Muehlig Funeral Chapel (403 South Fourth Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48104) and walk to First Congregational Church on the corner of William and State Streets. Leaving the funeral home you would walk east on William Street about 3 ½ blocks towards the University.
Helen Choate Hall, age 75, of Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away on Friday October 12, 2018. Helen was born October 19, 1942 the daughter of George and Katharine Hall. After graduating from Flint Central High School Helen attended the University of Michigan as an undergrad and then went on to graduate with her Masters degree. Helen worked for many years in Washington D.C. as a staffer for Senator Donald Riegle in the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Office of Consumer Affairs, and in Customer Relations for Amtrak. Helen loved to travel to Europe and especially loved her times in England. She returned to Ann Arbor to be closer to her family and became a devoted volunteer for several charities. She was past board member of the Ann Arbor Thrift Shop and the William L. Clements Library at the University of Michigan. Helen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by many cousins and friends. Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the First Congregational Church of Ann Arbor (608 E William St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104) until the hour of service at 3:00 p.m. Helen will be laid to rest at 12 noon at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lawton, Michigan on Thursday, October 18, 2018.
