Elizabeth "Betty" Carolyn Reynolds, of Ann Arbor, Michigan age 92 passed away on Friday November 23, 2018. "Betty" was born April 9, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Norman and Irene Rhoads. She lived most of her younger years in Bowling Green, Ohio where in 1946 she married George Reynolds. The couple would later move to Ann Arbor, Michigan to raise their family and start their business, Reynolds Sewer Cleaning. Betty became an active member of West Side United Methodist Church. Betty loved reading books, quilting, traveling and learning new things. Betty enjoyed their family lake house in Pinckney, Michigan with many years of fun times spent with family and many friends. She especially enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as Mom, Grandma and “GG”. She was quick witted and thought people often took life too seriously. Betty was preceded in death by her husband George in 2003, daughter Vicki Strasser and her sister Van Lou Apple. She is survived by her daughter; Kristine (Tom) Carlson, grandchildren; Tara (Garrick) Larsen-Smith, Adam (Melissa) Carlson, Ben (Erin Hillard) Carlson and Katlyn (Jake) Almer, great grandchildren; Lily, Fox, Austin, Amelia, and Larkin, and a special friend Allen Hare. Visitation for "Betty" will be held Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 S 4th Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Betty will be laid to rest in a private family service. Monday, December 3, 2018 at Washtenong Memorial Park of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
