Charlotte Dianne Stratton, age 89, of Ann Arbor. Died January 18, 2019 at Heartland Health Care Center-Ann Arbor. Charlotte was born March 7, 1929 in Brooklyn , NY, to Harold & Janet (Barker) Stratton. She will be sadly missed by her Best friend Sharon Ryan of over 50 yrs. and several cousins.
Charlotte graduated with a Bachelor Degree from Bucknell University, in Pennsylvania and received a Masters Degree in Chemistry from Penn State University. During her career as a Chemist, she worked for Warner Lambert, Park-Davis and Pfizer. She created the drugs Lipitor and Chloromycetin.
Charlotte had a beautiful singing voice and was a member of the St Andrew Episcopal Church Choir. She also enjoyed singing in Handel's Messiah, she was a member of the Woman's City Club and she was an excellent Bridge Player.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:30AM, Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Meuhlig Funeral Chapel in Ann Arbor. Burial will take place in New York.
