Cary Richard Walker

Walker, Cary R. 3/13/1951 - 9/23/2015 Ann Arbor Cary R. Walker, age 61, passed away Wednesday afternoon at his home in Ann Arbor. To all that knew and loved Cary, he was the "Care Bear". Cary is survived by his long term girlfriend, Diane Messer and his sister Marti Walker. Cary was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 13, 1951. He was a passionate aviator. He flew airplanes for over 40 years. He especially enjoyed flying his Cessna 175 to Florida for the winter. Cary combined his love of photography with aviation by taking photographs while simultaneously flying the Cessna. Cary was a great fan of music. He loved to listen to music, to make music, to sing and dance. He was a virtual walking encyclopedia of rock and roll music and history. Cary made friends where ever he went, opening his big heart and big arms to everyone. And when you became Cary's friend, you were his friend forever, as he was loving and forgiving. Services will be held at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 S. Fourth Ave, Ann Arbor, on Thursday October 1st. Visitation is from 2 to 4pm with a funeral service immediately following at 4pm.
