Betty Jean Lund

Betty worked as a food services manager for the Ann Arbor school system, as well as active involvement within the Saline American Legion.

In 1964, Betty met Spencer at Cunningham’s drug store on Main Street and the rest is history.

She loved to spend time with her family and had many moments of joy and laughter. She also loved to travel, read, bake, attend church, and participate in numerous legion activities.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Herman & Anna Laura Spurgeon (Adair), Sisters & Brothers, Husband Spencer Lund, & Grandson Derek Lund.

Betty is survived by her son Robert Lund, Granddaughter Nicole Purcell (Troy Purcell), and Great Grandson Paxton Purcell.

Betty lived a beautiful full life and created many memories along the way. We love her and will miss her dearly.

The family would like to thank the Medilodge of Howell for the care and compassion they showed our loved one on their final days.
