Bailey was born Nov. 22, 1930 in Laurel, Mississippi to Johnnie Mae and Bailey Bridges Sr.
He Graduated from Washtenaw Community College as a Radiologic Technologist. He worked at the University of Michigan Hospital for many years until his retirement.
Bailey was preceded in death by his wife Roberta Bridges, daughter Charlotte Jones, uncle Richard & aunt Wilhlemina Bridges, and parents Bailey & Johnnie Mae Bridges.
Bailey is survived by his sons Michael (Sharen) Bridges and Derek Bridges, sister Ernie G. Jones, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
A memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at New Grace Apostolic Temple, 2898 Packard followed by the repass at 2:00 PM at Weber’s Inn of Ann Arbor.
