Yvonne Cisar

Yvonne was born on September 14th, 1937 to Paul Wilson and Lucile (Lyons) Frederick in Nampa, Idaho. She graduated from Grandview High School in Grandview, Idaho. After high school, she attained an Associate’s degree from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA. She was a homemaker for her family.

Yvonne was united in marriage to Jerry Edward Cisar on July 28, 1958 in Boise, Idaho. They were blessed with five children. Cindy, Anna, Nancy, Kathy and Paul. She enjoyed listening to and playing music, she could play many different instruments. Yvonne loved to be outdoors, gardening, bird watching, and camping. Most of all she loved to be with her family.

She was an active member in the Shueyville United Methodist Church in Shueyville, Iowa where she taught bible school and Sunday school, sang in the choir and was the choir director and was president of the United Methodist Women. She was a bluebird leader and coached girls’ softball.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Edward Cisar; parents, Paul and Lucile (Lyons) Frederick, and her brother, Harvey Frederick. She is survived by her children, Cindy (John de Banzie) Cisar, Anna (Marty) O’Shea, Nancy (Eric) Nelson, Kathy (Phil Waltz) Cisar and Paul (Roberta) Cisar; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Derron (Diana) Frederick and two sisters, Verlynn Nobbs and Sharon Palmer.
