He was born July 4, 1953, to John and Joan (Roland) Mease in Des Moines, Iowa. Michael loved his extended family, and very much enjoyed the family get-togethers at their home. A few of his favorite things were the Iowa State Fair-where he and his wife, Ruth, volunteered at the information booth by the cattle barn for 25 years.
Michael spent many hours in his man cave and his garage, drinking Natural Light and watching the old black and white western movies.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Joan; wife of 28 years, Ruth; his daughter, Mikelyn; son, Chris; step-sons, Brian and Josh; step-daughter, Shantyl; and three grandchildren.
