Michael James Fisher, 13, was welcomed home into Jesus’ arms, Thursday, June 23, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2011 at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, 510 East 1st St. Ankeny, IA.
Michael was born April 20, 1998 to Kevin and Janet Fisher in Des Moines. He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Janet Fisher of Ankeny; brother and sister, Joe and Maggie; paternal grandparents, Dick and Pat Fisher of Dike, IA; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Springer of Chesterfield, MO; and many family and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Pete Springer.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m., at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Make a Wish Foundation, Blank Children’s Hospital or Michael’s family.
