A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Ankeny Funeral Home, 1510 West First Street, Ankeny, Iowa 50023.
Maranda Louise Roe was born on August 14, 1976 in Clinton, Iowa to Randall Lynn Roe and Jacqulyne Rae Adrian. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1994. She continued her education at Truman University in Kirksville, MO graduating with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. Mandy always thought she would pursue a career in criminal justice but after college she found herself working with the developmentally disabled and fell in love with that career. After college, she worked in Dubuque at Area Residential Care. Later in 2008, she found herself in Ankeny working for Easter Seals.
Mandy enjoyed camping, playing darts, watching the Chicago Cubs and the Iowa Hawkeyes but never the Iowa State Cyclones. She dearly loved spending time with her family and would never miss any of her niece and nephews events. Mandy loved her dog "Dexter" and spoiled him by dressing him in fun outfits. She also attended Xena retreats, where she formed strong friendships. Mandy was a loving woman who would fiercely support her family. Her nieces and nephews fondly referred to her as "Meme" and she loved them as they were her own. She would spoil them every time she had a chance.
Mandy is survived by her parents, Randall (Deb) Roe and Jackie Adrian; sister, Adrian (Curtis) Noteboom; two bonus brothers, Bryan (Eri) Stolts and Michael (Ellen) Stolts; nieces and nephews, Taylor (Tanner) Proko, Kalley (Jon) Dyson, Johnathan (Abby) Stolts, Owen, Logan and Olivia Noteboom and one great nephew, Matteo Proko. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack and Bobbie Adrian and Kenneth and Marilyn Roe, and one bonus brother, Nick Stolts.
Memorials in loving memory of Mandy may be directed to the family.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be left at www.ankenyfuneralhome.com for the Roe family.
