Linda Andersen, 66, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019, at her residence in Ankeny. Private family services will be held.
Linda was born January 2, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa to Cecil Keith and Dorothy (Freeman) Moon. She was one of six children. Linda was an insurance claims examiner for the past 30 years, starting at Principal and retiring from Marsh in 2018. In her free time, Linda liked watching her shows on TV, enjoying a glass of wine and always being with her best buddy, Ace, her Shih Tzu mix dog.
Linda leaves behind two children: Michael Crane and Jennifer Cason; her siblings: Chuck Hulgan of Des Moines, Sheri (Bill) Lightkep of Columbia, South Carolina, Greg Moon, Paul Moon and Doug Moon, all of Ankeny, along with extended family members. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, and an infant sister, Mary Louise.
