John Howard McKenna, age 72, of Ankeny, Iowa passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023. No services are scheduled at this time. John was born December 30, 1950, in Beloit, Wisconsin to Albert and Lucy (Young) McKenna. He enjoyed working on Geneology, learning about history, and enjoyed photography.
John worked at WOI-TV for over 20 years as a video operator. Prior to that, he was a D.J. for a radio station in Beloit, as well as a manager of a record store. John worked at Principal Financial Group and at Target before his retirement
John is survived by his wife Debra and children, Kyle and Erin of Ankeny; sister, Susan Dietrich of Appleton, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents.
