Donna Jean Johnson

Donna Jean Johnson, 60, of Jewell, IA entered into eternal rest Friday, April 19, 2013 at Bethany Manor in Story City, IA. The family will greet friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013 at Ankeny Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Ankeny Christian Church (2506 SW Third St. Ankeny, IA 50023) with Dr. David Clark officiating. Burial will be in Oralabor Cemetery.

Donna Jean Tscherter was born January 25, 1953 in Fairfield, IA to Donald and Genevieve Tscherter. She graduated from Ankeny High School in 1971. She was currently working at 3M in Ames, IA.

Survivors include her husband, Russ Johnson of Jewell, IA; sons, Michael (Misee) Mitchell of Des Moines, IA; Matt Drottz (Milissa Clark) of Ft. Worth, TX; daughter, Stephanie (Gabe) Bowers of Boone, IA; stepdaughters, Rachel (Herm) Eickert of Ames, IA; Lindsay (Dustin) Allen of Slater, IA; stepsons; Brent (Samantha) Johnson of Vermillion, SD; Nathan Johnson of Ankeny, IA; grandchildren, Londyn, Brenna, Jaycie, Delaney, Cole, Ryan and Ben, parents, Don (Estella) Tscherter of Sioux Rapids, IA; siblings, Steve (Carol) Tscherter of Reinbeck, IA; Cathy Wade of Davenport, IA; Roger Tscherter of Ankeny, IA; and Nancy Boehm of Clive, IA.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Genevieve Tscherter and brother, Jeff Tscherter.
