David Duane Lester of Polk City, Iowa died on April 7, 2023. Dave was born on January 15, 1961, son of Herbert Lester and Dorothea (McNamara) Lester in Clarion, Iowa. He graduated from Clarion High School in 1979 and Iowa State University in 1985.
Dave was united in marriage to Shirley Sable on May 28, 1988.
Dave is survived by wife Shirley Lester, son Michael Littlejohn, sister Maureen Lester, sister Karen (Roger) Stromsness, brother Craig Lester, and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents.
