Ginny, as she was known by most, passed away peacefully at home on Monday October 22, 2012 after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Normand Henri Bolduc. The daughter of Burr and Myrtle (Bauer) Beaird, she was born in Rapid City, South Dakota where she lived until moving to Anaheim fifty years ago.
Mom was an only child but had over twenty Aunts and Uncles who adored her. Many, including her Uncle Rusty who survives her, treated her more like a sister than a niece. She was a happy child who spent her early years living on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation before moving back to Rapid City where she finished her education and met her future husband.
Her family was her life, whether listening to them each day after school, rooting for them at a Little League game, supporting her husbands’ military career or, as always, sharing a good joke. She frequently served as Room Mother in her children’s classrooms and was also a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. She enjoyed such activities as writing poetry, oil painting, dancing, and interior decorating. She was also an avid Anaheim Angels fan. She loved to watch their games and cheer them on. Today she is with the real angels.
Ginny is survived by her children, Robert (Gale) Bolduc (Graham, WA), Cheryl (Harry) Hamric (Anaheim, CA), Gary (Katie) Bolduc, (Knoxville, TN), Michel (Robin) Bolduc (Anaheim, CA), and Denise (Bill) Evans (Orange, CA). Ginny was also the proud Grandmother to thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Ginny’s life. The viewing will be on Sunday October 28, 2012 from 4-8pm. The Memorial service will be held Monday October 29, 2012 at 10:00am. Both services will be at FDA Pierce Brothers Anaheim Mortuary 2425 W. Lincoln Ave. Anaheim, CA 92801 714-828-6440. Ginny will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Norm at 1:01pm at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518), where they will be reunited for what would have been their 69th Wedding Anniversary the next day, October 30th.
