It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Henry Joseph Aduna, 80, of Anaheim, CA, on October 27, 2024. Born in Roswell, New Mexico, Henry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was marked by his deep faith, generosity, and loyalty.
Henry was a proud graduate of Budlong Elementary, Horace Mann Junior High, and Huntington Park High School. He later served his country with honor in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1965. After his military service, Henry became a successful real estate agent, working for over 20 years in the field.
He married Betty Aduna, the love of his life, and together they raised a family that brought him immense joy. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he found great pride in watching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow. Henry's love for his family was matched only by his passion for his hobbies, which included watching and recording movies, listening to music, and reading. He was also known for his kindness and for always making time for his friends, offering his wisdom, generosity, and warmth to those around him.
Henry will be remembered as a loyal, loving, and Christian man who touched the lives of all who knew him. His gentle spirit and unwavering faith were an inspiration to his family and friends, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Aduna; his children, Lisa Aduna-Hass, Susie Costell, Millie Orcutt, and Henry Aduna Jr.; his brothers, Frank Aduna and John Ralles; and his 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Adalberto Aduna and Dora Gonzalez Aduna; his sister, Beatrice Aduna; and three brothers, Adalberto, Jerry, and Richard Aduna.
A funeral service for Henry will be held Monday, November 25, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Anaheim, 2425 West Lincoln Ave, Anaheim, CA 92801. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 1:15 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518.
