Alex was my older brother.  He was someone I admired and looked up to growing up.  He was supportive when he needed to be and gave me advice when I needed it. I truly miss his gentle soul. 
His sudden loss continues to leave a void.  He was a loving brother, son, and father.  He demonstrated a genuine love for his family, especially for his son, Joseph.  As soon as he became a father, Alex transformed into being the best father for his son.  He would do anything to keep him safe and put a smile on his face.  He never missed an important date and was Joseph's number 1 fan.  
The world shines less without Alex in it.  

I love you and miss you, brother. 

I know it was a long time ago since we last saw each other.  But,  you were an inspiration of a good honest person.  You showed me many things,  that i still recognize to this day. Thanks for being a great person, and for stepping into my life when you did. Like Pac said, "No matter how hard things get, stick your chest out, keep ya head up, and handle it." I'll see you on the other side when we get there. Much Love.
