Lois Ann Berg, 93, of Ames passed away Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 at Northridge Village Healthcare Center.
Lois was born at the Boone Hospital and graduated from Boone High School. She was united in marriage to Fred Berg on July 12th, 1945 at the Boone County Courthouse. Lois worked at the University Book Store in the Memorial Union for 26 years retiring August 1st, 1991.
Lois is survived by her children, Rick Berg of rural Boone County, Terry (Sue) Berg of Ames, and Tara (Rusty) Martin of Ames; eight grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, a daughter-in-law, her parents, grandparents, four sisters, and two brothers.
Per Lois’ wishes, she has been cremated and a private family graveside will be held at Story Memorial Gardens.
