Gary Lee Peterson

Gary enjoyed spending time watching TV, making different wood projects, and spending time with family, especially his girlfriend Traci Wheeler. When he was younger, he did flea markets rondeviews.

He is survived by his son Gary Lee Peterson II, of Ames, Iowa; girlfriend, Traci Wheeler; sisters Barbara Peterson, from Ames, Iowa, Diane Price, of Nevada, Iowa, Mel Dwyer of Jewell, Iowa, and Terry Peterson Cripe, of Utah; brothers Larry Peterson of Eldora, Iowa, and Bob Thomas from McCallsburg, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews, especially Jamey Roney.

He is preceded in death by his son, Mathew Peterson, his parents, sister Donna Brighton, and brother-in-law Richard Brighton, and niece April Trushcheff.

A visitation will be held from 1pm to 4pm, on Saturday, March 5th, 2022 at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames, Iowa.
