Wanda married the love of her life Cecil Cole on June 4, 1953. She was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. They were the most important thing in her life. Wanda was a strong independent woman. She was the one that everyone came to when they needed a helping hand ,someone to talk to or just a hug. She enjoyed listening to Christian music. She is going to be deeply missed by everyone who loved her.

She is survived by her husband Cecil Cole; 2 daughters Sherry Stapleton and husband Jerry of Amarillo; Patricia Tucker and husband Martin of Channing two sisters; Doris Hall of Amarillo; Melba Lampkin and husband Herschel of Abilene; 2 grandsons; Jeremy Stapleton and fiancée Andrea; Jerrod Stapleton and wife Kimberly; three granddogs; Dolly, Zoey and Betsy Ann; one great-grandson.
