Tracey A. Tennison

Tracey A. Tennison was born April 30, 1951 in Amarillo. He passed away April 20, 2020 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was raised in Amarillo. He met the love of his life, Cathy Gearhart, they celebrated 40 years of marriage in December. He was a God-fearing man who loved to tell others about Jesus. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. He received his BA in 1992 and his MBA in 1996 from Wayland Baptist University. He was a very hardworking, dedicated man not only to his family, but to his career. He worked at Canyon ISD as the Chief Technology Officer until he retired in December 2016. After retirement, he spent his time as a Licensed Realtor with Larry Brown Realty. He enjoyed playing tennis and golf. He was a former member of The Amarillo Area Corvette Club where he served as president for a few years. He will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his mother Grace Tennison.

He is survived by his loving wife Cathy. His children: Trevor Tennison and wife Maloree of McKinney, Texas; Michelle Wright and husband Matt of Amarillo. His siblings: Pat, Annie Ruth, Alan and Loraine. His grandchildren: Landon, Tyler, Shianne, Britten and wife Bethany, Bentlee and Trace and great-granddaughter Olivia.
