Tonnie was the type of person to have never met a stranger. She opened her home to everyone and welcomed even strangers as if they were close family. She was an accomplished singer, sharing her tremendous talent with church choirs. She was an incredibly strong and independent woman who successfully raised four sons even when her husband was away with his military pursuits. Tonnie loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they will truly miss her.
Along with her husband, she had an entrepreneurial spirit, managing all the details of their many business adventures. Aside from her family, only her faith was more important to her. Tonnie Edward’s was truly a remarkable woman and has left her impression on countless hearts.
A funeral service for Tonnie will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Valleyview Church of The Nazarene, 7601 S Western St, Amarillo, Texas 79110. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 11:15 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 14200 Texas Plains Trail I27, Amarillo, Texas 79119.
