Thomas Avery Johnson Jr. of Amarillo passed away March 13, 2018. Graveside service will be Monday, March 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Reverend Bruce Clifton officiating. Tom was born in Memphis, Texas on August 2, 1942 to Opal Wood Johnson and Thomas Avery Johnson of Hedley, Texas. He graduated from Dumas High School in 1962 and moved to Amarillo where he resided until his death. The family request in lieu of flowers donation be made to your favorite charity.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Nancy Bailey.
He is survived by his daughter Christi Hanson and husband Cody of Arlington, Texas; two grandchildren Celeste Hanson and Courtney Hanson of Arlington; his sister Betty Patterson and husband Jim of Canyon; Brother Ben Johnson and wife Janice of Bella Vista, Arkansas and his nieces and nephews.
