Ruth was a strong and compassionate woman, who loved her family and her independence. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading and crafting for her family. She was a gentle caregiver to those who needed her, quick to always lend a hand and a smile. She loved her life on the farm and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Alma Tuggle; a brother Elmer Tuggle, her husband of 43 years Leon Martin and their son David Martin; along with second husband of 18 years Rick Roeder.
Ruth is survived by her Daughters Sandy Schramm and husband Russ of Vancouver WA; Cate Fox of Tucson, AZ; Trish Davis and husband Larry of Edgewood, NM; Brenda Allen and husband Ken of Amarillo; Donna Akin and husband Wes of Blue Ridge, TX; a sister Thelma and two brothers Sonny and Delmer; Six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
