Ruth Jordan

She was born on April 28, 1932 to R.T. and Routh Thomas in Quanah, Texas.

She was married to Raymond Frank Jordan. She raised 5 children and was also a mother to countless neighborhood kids.

Ruth is survived by two sons; Kenneth and Cathy Jordan, Steven and Patsy Jordan, two daughters; Beverly and Merle Porter, Susan and Creighton Taylor, one brother; Leroy Thomas, three sisters; Maxine Spiker, Karen Smitherman, and Janet Pancake, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild.

Welcoming her into Heaven are her husband, her daughter; Carol Anderson, her brother; Howard Thomas, and a niece; Tonya Turner.
