Ruth met the love of her life, Maurice, in Germany during World War II where they would begin a wondrous journey of marriage that would span over five decades.
Ruth enjoyed many things in life; taking cruises around the world, playing bingo, quilting, dancing and parading her extensive collection of heels and hats. To name a few, Ruth loved making dolls for Ronald McDonald, being an active member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church of Amarillo, TX and even earning the award of ‘Volunteer of the Year’ at R.S.V.P. Ruth was a kind soul and will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Maurice Homan and son Don Holman.
Left on this earth to carry on her legacy are daughters Konni and husband Stacy Murphy, Nichole and husband Kevin Krallman, grandchildren Krista and husband J.T. Peters, Jack and wife Carrie Sims, Klay and wife Katie Sims, John Krallman, Ross Krallman, Gary and wife Teresa Holman, Dustin and wife Lizzy Hicks and eight great-grandchildren.
