Ross was a loving, compassionate, soft-spoken and generous man. If you ever found yourself needing advice, a helping hand or a good set of caring ears, Ross was the man you’d visit. Ross honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years, learning many things including living a neat and well-organized lifestyle which he would continue to do through his final moments on this earth. Ross and Glenna loved traveling whenever they could, visiting many states and even traveling abroad to Turkey. When Ross wasn’t fishing, traveling or helping out his family and friends, you could find him faithfully devoting himself to First Baptist Church where he was a proud member for nearly two decades.
Ross is preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Goldie Belle Cowan and son Scott Cowan.
Left on this earth to carry on his legacy is his loving wife of 17 years Glenna K. Robinson Cowan, sons Larry and Jerry Cowan of Lubbock, TX and many relatives in Pampa, Texas and New Mexico.
