Robert L. Vick

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Ken Haney, chaplain, officiating and the Rev. Carlos Jaramillo, pastor, assisting. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Robert was born Sept. 13, 1947, in Clarendon. He married Doris Annis on Jan. 24, 1969, in Clarendon. Robert served in the Navy and was actively deployed in Vietnam Era. He was employed by Tasco-Tyson Foods for 34 years.

Robert was known for being a jack-of-all-trades and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Robert was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandpa and friend who will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Vick.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Vick; two daughters, Donna Popplewell and Deana Vick; a son, Johnny Vick; his mother, Betty Vick; a sister, Carolyn Apel; a daughter-in-law, Maria Vick; and grandchildren, Trey, Haley, Morgan, Brandi, Jesse, Gavin, Isaiah, Mckayla and Jasmine.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
