

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Ken Haney, chaplain, officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
Bob was born May 15, 1929, in Sawyer, Okla., to Tyner and Emma Carter Knatcher. He enlisted in the Army in 1945. A cowboy by heart, Bob loved to rodeo. He was an avid gardener, raising vegetables and flowers. He loved to be outdoors. He was a heavy equipment operator, working in construction. He built several of the roads in and around Amarillo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Tommy Edward Knatcher; a daughter, Roberta Knatcher; and a brother, Jimmy Knatcher.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; three sons, Jimmy Lynn Knatcher of Waco, Donald Reed Knatcher of Edinburg and Larry Langan of Amarillo; Betty’s three children, Linda Ipson of Corpus Christi, Lori Hathway and husband John of Las Cruces, N.M., and Lance Langan and wife Karena of Clovis, N.M.; three grandsons, Josh, Robert and Jimmy; and a granddaughter, Stephanie.
The family suggests memorials be to Interim Hospice, 1901 Medi Park Drive, Suite 1055, Amarillo, TX 79106.
