Richard Eugene Riggin

Richard Eugene Riggin, 61 of Amarillo passed away August 31, 2016. Memorial service will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel with Rev. Trey and Amanda Harper officiating and Pastor Royce Riggin reading the eulogy. Arrangements by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors 5400 S. Bell St Amarillo, Texas. Richard was born December 8, 1954 in Denver City, Texas to Charlie and Patricia Riggin. Richard graduated from Hereford High School in 1973. He was a crane operator with Panhandle Steel Erectors for over 37. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Riggon. Father Charlie Riggin and brother Tom Riggin. He is survived by his wife Renee Wilson Riggin of Amarillo, TX; children Corey Hastings, Casey Hastings and wife Jamie, and Sara Riggin all of Amarillo, TX; his mother Patricia Riggin of Amarillo, TX; brothers Coy Riggin of Amarillo, TX, Royce Riggin Lubbock, TX, grandchildren Ella and Bailey Hastings of Conroe, Texas, Elov Valdez, Alex Valdez, Jasmine Gonzales, Jake Hastings, Jeremiah Hastings, Juliet Hastings, Cameron Deleon Riggin, Hudson Deleon Riggin all of Amarillo, TX
