Ralph Eldon Scott, 59 of Amarillo passed away October 10, 2012. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at South Georgia Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Logan of Bell Avenue Baptist Church and Rev. Bob Miller of South Georgia Baptist officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell. Ralph Eldon Scott was born September 29, 1953 in Amarillo to Burnie and Nell Scott. Ralph graduated from Amarillo College in 1974 in Diesel Mechanic School. He worked as a mechanic at John Deere dealers for 25 years, farming for 45 years and presently working at Stock Building Supply as a truck driver. Ralph enjoyed going to Twins Days Festivals and clogging workshops, riding four wheelers and snowmobiles. Most of all, Ralph liked Twining and Clogging. He was preceded in death by his older brother, David “Butch” Scott in 1990 and father, Burnie Scott in 1992. Ralph is survived by his identical twin, Russell Scott; his mother, Nell Scott; brother, Stanley Scott and sister, Nancy Owen. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
