Mary Louise Fox

Louise was born April 25, 1919 to Grady and Beulah Gravitt, she married Ralph B. Fox on January 27, 1940 and they moved to Amarillo, in 1957. Louise was a faithful servant for the Lord; she was a committed member of St. Paul United Methodist Church where she taught the Ruth Sunday school for many years. Louise was a long time member and president of numerous organizations, including United Methodist Women and Amarillo Federated Women’s club. She was also dedicated to the Wesley Community Center. Louise was an avid bridge player, she loved to sew, bake, play piano, and tend to her garden. She was a devoted Grandmother and Great Grandmother, who loved with all her heart.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Bill and B.G. Gravitt Jr.

Louise is survived by her sister Juanita Edwards of Calhoun; four children; Elaine and husband Forest “Woody” Wood of Mobile Al; Richard and wife Karen Fox; Tom Fox; and Bob and wife Jill Fox all of Amarillo. 10 Grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
