Mary Ann Boyd, age 87, of Amarillo, Texas went to be with her Lord and her daughter on Sunday, November 12, 2023. The family will receive friends for a viewing on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Graveside services will occur Friday, November 17, 2023 at 10am at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mary Ann was born on August 8, 1936 to Peter Evans and Birdie Mitchell. She married Charles Boyd and together they shared 68 years of marriage. Mary Ann had a love for cake decorating, cooking, and sewing. She sewed many clothes for herself, her husband, and her family for many years. She was a good wife and Mother and will be greatly missed.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Patricia Boyd; her brothers, Charles Evans, Freddie Evans, and Teddy Evans.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Boyd; brothers, Calvin Evans and Cayson Evans; her sister, Clara Crump, and a host of other extended family members and friends.
