Mary Ann Keith

Mary Ann McShane Hofmann Keith of Georgetown, Texas (Formerly Amarillo), passed away on May 28th at the age of 80 surrounded by a loving family and friends. Mary Ann was born August 6, 1942 in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Siena High School in 1960. In 1963, she married Bradford Lyon Hofmann Sr. and together they had four boys until his passing in 1971. She later met Jerry B. Keith and they married in 1987 until his passing in April of 2020. Mary Ann worked for WGN television while in Illinois, and for the Texas A&M Research Center in Amarillo. She also sat on the boards of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Amarillo, and the Amarillo Medical Center. In addition to work, she loved her family, golf, playing cards, and traveling.

Survivors include her children: Bradford Hofmann Jr. and wife Tammy of Jarrell, TX, Todd Hofmann and wife Laura of Tulsa, OK, Michael Hofmann and wife Laurie of Amarillo, TX, Robert Hofmann and wife Jennifer of Terrell, TX, Jerry Bryan Keith II and fiancée Toni Vincent of Amarillo, TX, Jeffery Keith and wife Kerry of Anchorage,KY, and Jeane Marie Keith of New Mexico. Three sisters, Maureen Skelton of Arlington Heights, IL,Roberta (Bobbie) Gordon of Highland Park, IL,and Kathleen McShane of Florida. Numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In addition to Bradford and Jerry, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marion McShane, a grandson, Brennan Michael Hofmann, and daughter, Julie Keith Powell.

Services will be at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Amarillo, TX on Friday, June 9th at 2 PM. MaryAnn and Jerry will be laid to rest together at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo at 11 AM on Saturday, June 10th.

We also invite friends and family of Mary Ann and Jerry to a Memorial reception to celebrate their lives on Saturday, June 10th from 1-4 PM at the Tascosa Golf Club on Fairway Drive in Amarillo, TX.
