Margie M Johnson

She was born April 20, 1940 in Wheeler County to Bud and Ollie Sanderson.

Margie was a loving wife, mother, and MeeMaw. Throughout her life, she enjoyed many passions including horses, boats, motorcycles and traveling the world with her husband. In 1973 she met the love of her life, Dick Johnson and they were married in 1974. They lived a fun-filled loving, full life together raising their kids and later traveling in their RV. In the last few years, she loved watching her two great-grandsons, Rynn and Quincy rope together.

Margie is survived by her husband; Dick Johnson, sons; Tony Prescott and wife Pam, Danny Johnson, and Donnie Johnson, daughters; Dana Johnson, and Tena Scott, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one brother; J.B. Sanderson and wife Patricia, and one sister; Bettie Ann Smith,and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Bud and Ollie Sanderson, sisters; Velma Welch, Hazel Gillespie, Mattie Holman, and Vernell Hiller, brothers; Junior Sanderson, and Bobby Sanderson, and one grandson; Evan Johnson.

Margie will be missed by both family and friends.
