Margaret Ann Radney Marcom

Margaret Ann Radney Marcom passed away March 18, 2020. She was born June 2, 1938. Her family was very important to her they all had a very special place in her heart. She was a very talented, strong, independent woman who had many hobbies. She began a graphic arts business in the 70’s. She was also a commercial graphics artist and a taxidermist. She was a very talented artist whose art work told a story like no other. She raised all different typed of birds and loved being outdoors. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and did the very best at everything she did.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Denzel and Dolly Marcom; Nanny; a granddaughter Maile Rae Bargeron; a grandson Christopher Allen Bargeron; a brother Carl Wayne Marcom; and a nephew Carl Wayne Marcom Jr.

She is survived by her children Sherry Bargeron and husband Joseph; Russell G. Radney; the father of her children Melvin G. Radney. Siblings Harless Marcom and wife Barbara; and Donna Lee Thaxton. Seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three nieces and two nephews.

Due to our current health conditions in our community and government regulations for small gatherings there will be a private family service for immediate family members. A celebration of life will held be as soon as it is safe to have large crowds.
